I always rent a car and go to China town for food. Much much cheaper and more delicious to me. I also get places to stay off strip where parking is free. I don’t drink, gamble or go to expensive shows. I also like to watch the Sphere only from the outside as I don’t like loud noises (inside is loud). I go to Vegas for the desert vista and weather, cheap food in China town, the energy of the city and because it’s a short flight from where I live. I also have good friends who live there. And they do let me stay for free at their rental condos. 😂

At a poker table, stand behind someone whos sitting and playing. Make sure to pick someone that could look like your dad or uncle. Stand around and cocktail waitress won’t question when you order drinks. This makes me sound so cheap. Just tip them well.

Lots of people mentioning drinks at machines... 🍹 Heads-up: cocktail waitresses are typically directed to only bring drinks to those actively playing, but if you tip them decently, they won’t care if you’re just sitting. The first drink is a test. Tip well, and they'll keep coming back; otherwise, don’t expect a refill! 😉💰🥃♥ 137source record 883

The Arts District is magic. Slots and Keno are looser at gaming bars, but hotel will comp you food and rooms. [account] [account] and Rebar are amazing. Mt Charleston is beautiful a d worth the drive. It's cooler there and looks like an enchanted forest. The Strat observation deck is worth every penny. Fremont is fun and the same price as the strip in many ways, but more bang for your buck. Hoover dam is a marvel and gorgeous. You're 45 mins away from the Aneatazzi Petroglyphs in Arizona which predates Native Americans and is where they've filmed Star Wars and Star Trek. Fill-a-seat is designed for locals but for $75 you can see 1-3 shows every day you're here for free after the fee. The Titanic exhibit at the Luxor is insane. They have a giant piece of the titanic there. I don't care how well you tolerate heat, take breaks and drink water and electrolytes. Penny slots are basically a scam. Gamble or don't. Penny slots will eat your money. The shark pool at the Golden Nugget is life changing, but if you book at the D they don't have a pool and will let you in the Golden Nugget for free. Don't gamble? Gamble anyway. Drinks are free and maybe you'll win. Often the cost of drinks is higher than the minimum for comp'd drinks. Golden Gate casino is a must. It's the oldest casino in the US. El Cortez is covered in historic facts and crazy history, including mob history and hosted the first phone in Nevada. Las Vegas is great for kids if you know where to go and where to avoid. Las Vegas is rich in culture and history and is more than the Strip and Fremont.♥ 13source record 1024

Nope not true. Weekends are included too. I’ll go Friday-Monday. It really helps to build loyalty with one or 2 casinos. Caesars is great because they have properties all over the US. They will also send offers for airfair, transportation to Reno and other places besides Vegas.♥ 9source record 320

Also, play My Vegas slots, Konami slots etc in the app store. (Google all the related apps they have!) You earn real coins you can spend in Vegas at MGM hotels (There's a lot of them!) We play while we poop all year, and get enough coins for free rooms, free drinks, B1g1 buffets, show tickets etc. Totally free to play BTW. And your coin base is interchangeable between apps, so when you play in one, your coins show up in their whole family of apps :) Also each app gives you tokens every day to play with. so if you play multiple apps each day you earn coins so much faster!♥ 15source record 378

Oh yeah no question. They are always lined up outside the casino just waiting for a ride. You say I’m going to Fremont from the strip or whatever. You can even negotiate with them sometimes be they say 25 and you say can you do it for 20? Sometimes they are cool but regardless, you don’t have to sit and wait for the uber. Uber will over charge. And the cab driver will more often get you there faster because they are usually locals 👍♥ 1source record 726

Hit CVS, ABC or Walmart before the minibar gets you — water, snacks, coffee and booze at street prices.

  • After you arrive at your hotel, buy all your necessities from CVS! Water, snacks, and stop at the liquor store. Save your money!!♥ 47
  • Heads-up: cocktail waitresses are typically directed to only bring drinks to those actively playing, but if you tip them decently, they won’t care if you’re just sitting. The first drink is a test. Tip well, and they'll keep coming back♥ 137
  • Why pay expensive hotel store prices? Order Instacart, they drop off in the uber pickup area, take your wheeled luggage and load up the $7 CASE of bottled water there.♥ 37

Fountain shows, hotel pools, promoter guest lists and day-of ticket drops — the entertainment is negotiable.

  • Go on Groupon and buy the Royal Bar Crawl. We did the one on the strip for $50 and Fremont Street $50. Each bar crawl is five bars. We did both and posted it. Everyone thought we had big money bar hopping 🥰♥ 126

  • MGM pool… you can go anytime. Say you’re going to the day club and in the lazy river you go. Also.. you can book a room at the cheapest MGM affiliated property and use their pool your whole stay. I’ve booked Excalibur just to use the better pool. 🤪♥ 22

  • Play $500 in high limit. Room and everything will be comped. You are then rated as a high limit player.♥ 28
  • Call and ask for a casino host. Tell them you play at xx hotel in Atlantic City, Detroit, etc. tell them you are getting married and don’t plan to gamble but would like casino rates. They’ll even send a limo to pick you up.♥ 7
