238 Insider Reports, Organized by Company and What You Can Do With Them

Start here

Find the company, then see the useful takeaway

The strongest entries turn a named-company report into a concrete next step, such as asking AT&T loyalty for retention options, confirming AAA coverage follows the member, or using device backup and repair mode before phone service. High-stakes claims about airlines, medical decisions, employment listings, returns, and debt collection need a verdict beside the takeaway rather than being left as raw anecdotes.

What you will find
  • A company search covering all 118 named organizations
  • A visible directory of 232 direct reports plus six useful reply-only reports
  • Quick-win cards for AT&T retention, AAA member coverage, phone-repair privacy, and employer-site verification
  • Verdict badges on the 27 primary-source checks
  • Clear unverified-allegation notes on the 19 sensitive reports
  • A sector index that opens to the actual secrets, not only category totals

The public school system passes students who are failing. I’m not talking “hey your kid’s average for the year is in the 50-59% range. I’m talking 25-30%. Sometimes less.) I worked w/ 4th grade (one of the most crucial learning stages) I’ve seen kids complete less that half of the school year’s work due to repetitive sleeping in class, excessive absences &/or behavioral issues. Students that I would have to spoon feed through entire assignments because they couldn’t read/comprehend the most basic concepts. All of this & the school just moves them on to the next grade the following year, with teachers “celebrating their advancements!” & nobody bats an eye. (this isn’t slander on the kids)

Car buyers can use market guides to negotiate below MSRP
Source report

What this means for you: Negotiate using the total out-the-door price and independent market comparisons.

View 1 direct source comment

You can buy any new car at least than MSRP. MSRP should be the MOST you pay for a new car. Use KBB to price new/used vehicles and be very adamant about that pricing. Dealers will try to get you on "well you know we have to keep the lights on" and that's when you say "my job as a consumer isn't to worry about how you run your business".

Source report

A major fast-food chain secretly sprays its burger buns with a scent additive that makes them smell fresher than they actually are. The additive has no nutritional value but tricks customers’ brains into thinking the food just came out of the oven. That’s why the same burger smells amazing instore but bland once you take it home.

Spanish-language support queues may be shorter, but transfers can undo the shortcut

What this means for you: Ask whether a documented outage qualifies for a credit under current terms.

✗ Not supportedChecked 2026-07-28
Correction: The FCC material reviewed describes outage rebates as a proposed rule, not a blanket existing federal mandate. Provider contracts and state or local rules may provide credits; ask the provider and use the FCC complaint process if unresolved.

No federal two-hour airline “flat-tire rule” requires free rebooking
Not supported

What this means for you: Check the airline's written missed-flight policy; do not rely on a supposed federal two-hour rule.

✗ Not supportedChecked 2026-07-28
Correction: There is no federal 'flat tire rule.' DOT says airline responses to delayed or disrupted travel are generally governed by each carrier's policies and discretion unless a specific passenger-protection rule applies. A courtesy rebooking policy may exist at a particular airline, but DOT does not require this two-hour free change.

How to read this directory

A report count is a source-backed editorial answer unit, not a claim that the statement is true or that it applies to every location.

Named-company allegations remain explicitly attributed to anonymous commenters. Legal, financial, medical, safety, and current-policy claims are corrected or contextualized inline when authoritative evidence was available.

Search and category controls filter the expanded summaries. The exact source comment, useful reply context, and fact-check sources are the only material collapsed by default.

Coverage: 232 substantive top-level reports, 6 reply-only discoveries, 27 primary-source checks, and 19 explicitly labeled unverified allegations.
