I went on 150 flights last year. The Away carry on for sure, I can shove so much in it. The Calpak Luka duffel has broke on me twice. Don’t buy anything Beis, it’s more for aesthetic and not longevity. Baggu bags are a bottomless pit. For the personal item, just make sure it has a trolley strap. You can find some good ones at TJ Maxx/Marshalls or Amazon.

Lil travel hack, i wear a little fanny pack/ cross body bag that fits my phone passports chargers chapstick AirPods.. basically anything I’ll need during the flight and they never count it as another personal item

My calpak terra backpack is my absolute most fav personal item ever ever EVER. I flew to Scotland with it under my feet the entire time. (It would’ve fit overhead! I used as a foot rest lolz)
